Accounts from Families We Have Worked With
Faridah binti Aziz
Melaka · Will Drafting
"I had been putting off writing a will for several years — mostly because I did not know where to start. Puan Zainab made the whole process far less daunting than I had anticipated. She took the time to explain what options I had for my children's guardian nomination, and I left the consultation feeling genuinely settled about the decision."

Tan Keat Leong
Melaka · Trust Formation
"We wanted to set up a trust for our three grandchildren's education after selling a property. Krishnamoorthy explained the differences between the trust structures clearly, and the recommendation report we received gave us real confidence in the decision we eventually made. The process took about five weeks — reasonable, given the detail involved."

Ranjit Singh Dhaliwal
Alor Gajah · Probate Administration
"When my father passed, the estate situation was complicated — assets in two states and a dispute among the beneficiaries. Krishnamoorthy handled the probate application and kept us informed at every step. The court process took longer than we hoped, but that was outside anyone's control. The guidance we received throughout was steady and clear."

Siti Lailatul binti Mustafa
Melaka · Will Drafting
"I was referred to Tuah Estate by my neighbour after her family used them for probate work. My situation was simple — I just needed a basic will — but I was treated with the same attention I imagine more complex clients receive. Puan Zainab was patient with my questions and the draft was ready within the week."

Wong Chee Mun
Melaka · Trust Formation
"As a business owner with both commercial and personal assets, I wanted to ensure the two were properly separated for succession purposes. Hui Ying understood what I was trying to achieve from the first conversation. The trust structure she recommended was not the one I had originally assumed I needed, and the explanation of why made complete sense."

Norzaharah binti Ahmad
Jasin · Probate Administration
"My late mother passed without a will, and none of us had any experience with estate administration. We were referred to Tuah Estate by a family friend. The team explained the Letters of Administration process clearly from the start, and kept us updated throughout. It was a lengthy process by nature, but we were never left wondering where things stood."

How We Have Helped
CASE STUDY · WILL DRAFTING
A Family with Three Properties and Four Children
The Situation
A retired teacher in his late 60s had three properties in Melaka and three adult children, plus one minor grandchild in his care. He had no existing will and was concerned about how the estate would be divided fairly while ensuring his grandchild's welfare was protected.
How We Helped
We spent two consultation sessions working through the full asset picture and family dynamics. The will was drafted to address each property individually, appointed a trusted eldest child as executor, and included a testamentary trust provision for the grandchild's care and education until adulthood.
The Outcome
A formally executed will completed within three weeks, registered with Amanah Raya. The client expressed relief at having the matter properly addressed, and a follow-up amendment was handled two years later following the sale of one property — at no additional consultation fee.
"I wanted each child to be treated fairly, but I also needed to ensure my grandchild would be looked after properly. The team helped me find an arrangement that achieved both." — Client, Melaka (2025)
CASE STUDY · PROBATE ADMINISTRATION
Navigating a Multi-State Estate Without a Will
The Situation
A family in Melaka lost their father unexpectedly. He had not prepared a will, and his estate included a shophouse in Melaka, a flat in Selangor, and several bank accounts. Four adult siblings were involved, with differing views on how the estate should be managed.
How We Helped
We filed for Letters of Administration at the Melaka High Court, conducted a full asset inventory across both states, and coordinated with the relevant financial institutions for account access and closure. Communication with all four siblings was managed through a single family representative to avoid inconsistency.
The Outcome
The estate was fully administered within fourteen months — a realistic timeline given the multi-state assets and intestacy proceedings. Final distribution was made to all four beneficiaries in accordance with the Distribution Act 1958, and each received a copy of the final distribution report.
"We were not expecting to deal with something this complex so soon. Having a clear point of contact throughout made a real difference to how the family managed the process." — Family representative, Melaka (2025)
CASE STUDY · TRUST FORMATION
An Education Trust for Three Grandchildren
The Situation
A retired couple in Melaka wished to earmark a portion of their savings — approximately RM 280,000 — specifically for their grandchildren's tertiary education. They wanted the funds managed prudently and distributed at the right stage, not available immediately as an inheritance.
How We Helped
We recommended an inter-vivos trust with a corporate trustee, which allowed the couple to maintain some oversight while ensuring continuity regardless of what happened to either of them. The trust deed specified distribution conditions tied to tertiary enrollment, with provisions for amounts and timing reviewed every three years.
The Outcome
The trust was established and funded within six weeks. Two years on, the eldest grandchild commenced university and the first distribution was made in accordance with the trust's terms. The couple has since returned to update the trust following the birth of a fourth grandchild.
"We did not want the money to disappear into the estate — we wanted it to actually reach the grandchildren for the purpose we intended. This arrangement does exactly that." — Client, Melaka (2024)
